As some of you may know, Ben and I have something pretty exciting going on in our lives right now. Around Thanksgiving time we found out that I am pregnant with our first child! It was not a planned pregnancy but it is very welcome. Ben and I couldn't be more excited.
I apologize to those who had not heard our wonderful news until just now. Call me old fashion, but I wanted to wait until I was out of my first trimester to make the big announcement to everyone.
The first trimester is behind us now, though. I am currently 13 weeks (3 months). Everything seems to be going very well. And I've been lucky enough to not have any morning sickness (knock on wood).
The first picture of me is at 9 weeks and the next one is 12 weeks. I thought it might be fun to track my progression. Ben will be taking my picture every 3 weeks or so.
Ben and I had a dating ultrasound in December and the ultrasound picture is of our little peanut at 8 weeks 4 days. We'll be getting another ultrasound at 20 weeks. That's when we will find out the gender of the baby.
We'll be sure to keep everyone posted. Ben and I are praying for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

I can't stop coming here and reveling over your picture! You both have made some very responsible choices, and we are extremely proud of you! I can't wait to see that little Kamaiki!

Caitlin, you look absolutely amazing!!!! I can't wait to see the pictures progress - and I really can't wait till you start feeling the baby move. This will be the greatest experience in your lives and you'll be excellent parents. I'm also so proud of the choices you two have made.

Wow! I never get online anymore but decided to take a look today and was so excited to see how you look. Rache & John were looking over my shoulder and saw the pic too and we all said "ohhh how cute" at the same time! We are all so excited and are praying lots for the three of you! I have to pull Dad down from the ceiling every few minutes cuz he's walking on clouds. I wish we could see you before the baby is born... I wanted to touch the tummy...LOL! ;)but keep expecting little things in the mail. We can't help ourselves! Hope you like what we've sent so far. Hope to talk to ya soon.
