NFL Pro Bowl Skills Challenge

This Thursday Ben and I had a blast at the NFL Pro Bowl Skills Challenge. It was held here on Oahu. We were lucky enough to get free tickets from the Air Force.

We watched various NFL players compete in several different competitions: kicking, weight lifting, obstacle course, “hot hands”, passing accuracy and sprinting. The weather was beautiful too.

Our seats were really close to all the action which gave me a great opportunity to take pictures. Unfortunately, the event won't air on ESPN like it has in the past. It's going to air on the NFL Network tonight at 10:30 PM ET. Ben and I are disappointed because we don't have the NFL Network. So if you see us on TV please let us know!

We were thinking about going to the Pro Bowl game today too. We were offered free tickets. There was a catch though. If we took the tickets we would have to help clean up the stadium for 8 hours tomorrow. Ben and I decided to turn down the tickets. Ben really has to catch up on his homework and he wouldn't be able to do that if we were gone all day today and tomorrow.

We're not too upset about it though. We were able to see a lot of players at the Skills Challenge. Plus about half of the Bears players who were supposed to play in the Pro Bowl game backed out due to "injuries". We're going to buy tickets for next years game though for sure.

That looks like a lot of fun! You two were pretty close to the players; great pictures. Too bad it's not going to air like it has previously.
The Pro Bowl game sounds cool, but not at the expense of having to clean up for 8 hours.
Was there a chance to get any autographs?
