Shark Diving Take 2

I have so much catching up to do! Since I've last posted a blog Ben and I have been Shark Diving with our friend, Geoff. Geoff was visiting Hawaii and had never been Shark Diving before. So Ben and I figured we would join him since we had so much fun last time.

We went with a different company this time, Shark Adventures. Shark Adventures, like Shark Encounters, is located on Oahu's North Shore.

The whole experience was just as exciting as our first one, but for different reasons. The Shark Adventures dive cage was much smaller than the cage we had been in last time, making us feel closer to the sharks. There were about 12 Galapagos Sharks and at least one Reef Shark. But the scariest creature circling the cage was a Barracuda! And not because it was scarier than the sharks, but because it could fit between the bars of the cage!

Luckily the Barracuda decided not to join us in the cage. But we got some great footage of the Barracuda and the sharks on the DVD we bought from Shark Adventures. Shark Adventures had an underwater video camera and one of the crew members video taped our whole dive. It came out really nice. I'll try to figure out how to share the video via my blog, but that might take me a little bit.

My next blog will be about Ben and my SCUBA diving experiences. I don't have time to write about all that now though...
