Manoa Falls Trail

Ben, our friend, Rob, Scout and I went on a hike last weekend. We went on a trail called Manoa Falls Trail. After about a mile and a half we reached the small yet beautiful waterfall.

After we reached the waterfall we continued on the trail to the Nu'uanu Valley Lookout Point. The view was amazing!

From the Nu'uanu Valley Lookout Point we made our way to our final destination, Jackass Ginger Pool. And no, I did not make that name up! The pool is a natural spring at the end of the Nu'uanu Stream.

The whole hike took us 7 hours (including frequent water and snack breaks and lunch at the pool)! Scout hung with us the whole time...Actually I should say we hung with Scout the whole time. Some of the highlights of the hike (besides the waterfall, lookout point and pool) were the bamboo forest and the enormous leaves.

Needless to say we were all exhausted in the end!
